Innovative and Creative Computing at Key Stage 3
Peter will share the success of a multi-award winning iSTEM+ project and show a framework and case studies that can enable schools to build a creative STEM capacity. He will share approaches that build self-efficacy in girls and increase the number of girls selecting STEM subjects, and how empowering young STEM ambassadors can provide role models and support fruitful relationships with the local community. Through these approaches, adding the ‘plus’ to STEM, schools can prepare students for the fourth industrial revolution, university, the workplace and beyond.
